Badulla District MP Chamara Sampath Dasanayake has been summoned to appear before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) tomorrow (12 October), after failing to attend a scheduled appearance last Friday (9).
According to the Commission, he had been notified to appear on Friday but did not attend.
The summons relates to investigations into allegations that he accepted bribes from a phosphate company and issued three mining licences.
