Three Notorious Criminals with Interpol Red Notice Repatriated from Dubai

Three wanted Sri Lankan criminals, including a former police Sub-Inspector accused of aiding and abetting the killing of five people in Beliatta, were repatriated from Dubai this morning (7).

The repatriated individuals include Ranmuni Mahesh Hemantha Silva, wanted for the 2024 Beliatta murders, ‘Rotumba Upali,’ accused of multiple murders in Akuressa, and Pradeep Sandaruwan, alias ‘Kollonnawe Chandana,’ Sri Lanka Police confirmed.

The suspects, who were arrested in Dubai, were brought back to Sri Lanka by a Criminal Investigation Department (CID) team. Interpol had issued Red Notices for their arrest following a request from Sri Lanka Police.
