An Assistant Director at the External Resources Department of the Finance Ministry, who had been interdicted in connection with the alleged USD 2.5 million cyber fraud incident, was found dead at his residence in Kuliyapitiya, police said.
The death has been ruled a suicide, according to police, while further investigations are underway
