SJB Suspends Party Membership of Six Dambulla PS Members

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has suspended the party membership of six members of the Dambulla Pradeshiya Sabha with immediate effect.

This decision was made by the SJB following their failure to follow instructions from the Party’s Management Committee and Executive Committee during the appointments for the chairman and vice chairman of the Dambulla Pradeshiya Sabha.

The suspension was formally announced in a statement issued by the SJB, signed by its General Secretary, Ranjith Madduma Bandara.

The six suspended members are:

  1. Herath Mudiyanselage Susil Herath
  2. Adhikarinayake Mudiyanselage Penalaboda Gedara Anil Indrajith Dassanayake
  3. Karadagolle Walauwe Dhananjaya Sampath Karadagolle
  4. Aluth Gedara Priyaranjana Kumara Rathnayake
  5. Herath Mudiyanselage Kusuma Kumari
  6. Krishanthi Dilrukshi Premaratne

The SJB stressed that these measures were taken to maintain discipline within the party and to enable its smooth functioning in the Dambulla Pradeshiya Sabha.
