Maddumabandara Files CID Complaint Over Liquor Licenses

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) General Secretary and Member of Parliament Ranjith Maddumabandara has filed a complaint with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), requesting an investigation into allegations circulating on social media accusing him of holding a liquor license.

Speaking to the media, Maddumabandara firmly denied the accusations, stating, “No liquor shop or liquor license has been granted to anyone under my name or involvement.”

The MP emphasized the importance of addressing the baseless claims and called for a thorough investigation to clear his name.
