Rajitha Senaratne Remanded Over Corruption Case

Former Minister Rajitha Senaratne was remanded today (29) after appearing before the Colombo High Court in connection with a case filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).

The order was issued by Colombo High Court Judge Lanka Jayaratne, following Senaratne’s appearance before court this morning.

Accordingly, the judge directed that Senaratne be placed in remand until he is produced before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court.
