Police Announce New Fees for Public Services

The Sri Lanka Police has issued a revised fee structure for services provided to the public.

Obtaining a Police Clearance Report for overseas travel and related real-time services will now cost Rs. 5,000.

Fees for broadcast permits will depend on duration: up to six hours will cost Rs. 500, six to twelve hours Rs. 1,000, and more than twelve hours Rs. 2,000.

Police reports issued by divisional police stations for Middle Eastern countries will be charged Rs. 500, while reports issued by the Officer-in-Charge for domestic purposes will cost Rs. 300. Copies of complaints will be available at Rs. 50 per copy.
