Receiving this recognition from APICTA is a testament to Bileeta’s commitment to meet and serve humanitarian needs by continuously creating value added solutions in the health sector to support human wellbeing. Entution Vesta VIMS is one of the more unique examples of such initiatives launched by Bileeta, recently.

Bileeta is one of the most-awarded ICT solutions companies in Sri Lanka having won prestigious local and international awards, that takes pride in developing enterprise solutions to empower various industries, with the core focus of enriching people’s lives. The Company focuses on adaptability, speed of delivery, quality and ease of use, while also working with global organizations such as UNDP, USAID, Chemonics and The Global Fund, to provide world class solutions to local and global organizations in the public and private sectors.

Building on Bileeta’s flagship Entution Vesta eLMIS (Electronic Logistics Management Information System) solution, Entution Vesta VIMS provides critical features to support an effective vaccine distribution process. Entution Vesta eLMIS has been recognized both locally and internationally for its exceptional quality, stability and features, receiving many awards along the way. Entution Vesta VIMS is a Vaccine Information Management System that digitalizes the entire lifecycle of immunization through vaccination in the public health sphere. The platform addresses the silos and disconnects that exist between disparate institutions both in the state and private healthcare sectors. The VIMS brings together all key information required for critical decision making to ensure the smooth operation of Sri Lanka’s vaccination drive, which is targeting all Sri Lankans.

Through this solution, all core functions such as registration, appointment scheduling, vaccine administration, vaccine logistics management and actionable intelligent reporting are all combined on one platform, allowing for vaccination drives to be carried out in a near paperless environment. This system is not only helping to promote a safe and vaccinated society, but also to generate more public confidence in our health and safety institutions.

APICTA or the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance is an association of ICT communities nominated by respective member countries, who come together in the spirit of collaboration, forming a cooperative network to promote technological innovation and encourage the development of indigenous ICT solutions for the global market through an annual awards programme. Sri Lanka is one among 16 member nations of APICTA and the awards programme sees large and small businesses, the public sector, start-ups, not for profits and students come together on a single platform to ensure continuous innovation within the industry in the region.
