At least five people have been killed in a mass shooting in a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania suburb, local police have confirmed. Six more are reported to be injured in the late-night shooting.
Neighbors have told KDKA they heard no fewer than 25 gun shots, and saw dozens of shell casings lying about the street afterwards.
The shooting occurred in the suburb of Wilkinsburg at about 11pm on Wednesday. Conflicting reports indicated a gunman was in police custody by midnight, but later information revealed the police are still searching for two suspects.
According to reports so far, the shooting was caused by an incident at a party in a backyard. One of the victims of the shooting was reportedly found dead on the porch, while neighbors saw another being taken away in an ambulance. The area has been sealed off.
