A massive power outage has struck the Swiss city of Zurich, according to numerous social media reports. The whole city has reportedly lost electricity, traffic has been halted and traffic lights gone out. The causes of the blackout are unclear.

The lights are off on Zurich's main downtown street, Bahnhofstrasse, Swiss 20 Minuten newspaper reported.
