An Oregon man led police on a chase through southeast Portland reportedly throwing four pipe bombs out of his car during the chase.
Police identified the suspect as 43-year-old Neal Panschow and said he is armed and dangerous.
Officers attempted to stop a silver Honda Civic in the latter stages of the afternoon, but Panschow took off and tossed an explosive device out of his window.
At that time, officers stopped the pursuit and closed off the area for the bomb squad to investigate the device. Police were able to recover a total of four pipe bombs that were tossed from the car.
Panschow has an active warrant and has led police on at least three chases through Oregon in the last few days.
