Approval Granted to Import 30,000 MT of Unprocessed Salt

The Cabinet has approved the importation of up to 30,000 metric tons of unprocessed salt through the Sri Lanka State Trading Corporation. The decision aims to address the current demand for salt in the local market.

Cabinet Spokesperson Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa said that the imports must be completed on or before 31 January 2025,
