Opposition Leader Fulfils Promise, Hands Over Educational Documents to Parliament

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa announced that he handed over copies of his educational certificates to the Hansard Department of Parliament this morning (19 December).

In a statement, Premadasa said he personally submitted his degree and other qualifications to Parliament. Yesterday (18 December), he displayed all his educational certificates during a parliamentary sittings, pledging to table them officially.

Meanwhile, at the weekly Cabinet Media Briefing, Cabinet Spokesperson Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa addressed questions regarding Premadasa’s promise. Dr. Jayatissa noted that, as of the time of the briefing, Premadasa had not yet tabled the certificates in Parliament.
