11 High-Ranking Police Officers Transferred with Immediate Effect

The Sri Lanka Police announced that 11 officers have been transferred with immediate effect.

As approved by the National Police Commission, the Inspector General of Police has ordered the following transfers:

Senior Superintendent of Police W. V. Ginige has been transferred from the position of Director of the Division of Assistance and Protection of Crime Victims and Witnesses to Officer-in-Charge of the Matara Division.

Senior Superintendent of Police H.G.D.S. Amarasinghe, who served as the Director of the Parliamentary Police Division, has been transferred as Officer-in-Charge of the Ampara Division with immediate effect.

Senior Superintendent of Police D.S.I.A. Amarasinghe has been transferred from the National Police Training Institute to the position of Director of the Parliamentary Police Division with immediate effect.
