The Colombo Magistrate’s Court has recalled the arrest warrant issued against former State Minister Diana Gamage, who has been charged with violating immigration and emigration laws.

The order was made after Gamage appeared before the court through a motion.

Earlier today (6), Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali issued the warrant for her arrest after she failed to appear in court for the trial related to the charges against her.

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has filed seven charge sheets against Gamage, including allegations of staying in Sri Lanka without a valid visa and providing false statements to immigration authorities.d
