Authorities are searching for a Bering Air passenger plane with 10 people on board that went missing while en route from Unalakleet to Nome, the Alaska Department of Public Safety said on Thursday.
The plane was carrying nine passengers and one pilot, the agency said on its website, and said crews were working to obtain its last known coordinates.
Bering Air is an Alaska-based regional airline that operates about 39 planes and helicopters, according to data from flight tracking website FlightRadar24.
