To mark International Fact-Checking Day, Journo Tips! has launched a training series on Fact-Checking and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) to help Sri Lankan journalists combat misinformation.

Led by Indian fact-checking expert Dheeshma Puzhakkal, the online sessions will take place on 2, 9, and 12 April. Participants will gain hands-on experience in verifying information, detecting AI-driven misinformation, and analyzing deepfakes.

The initiative, founded by Sandun Arosha Fernando, aims to equip media professionals with essential verification skills in an era of digital disinformation. Interested journalists can register at www.tinyurl.com/JournoTips.
