Samantha Ranasinghe was sworn in as a Member of Parliament today (8) before Speaker Dr Jagath Wickramanayake.

He was appointed to fill the vacancy left by the late Kosala Nuwan Jayaweera as the Kegalle District MP representing the National People’s Power (NPP).

Samantha Ranasinghe served as the NPP’s Ruwanwella electorate organiser during the 2024 parliamentary elections.
