BNI Sri Lanka (Business Network International), the leader in professional business networking, will host its National Conference themed “Connect. Collaborate. Conquer.” as a full-day event on 18 July 2025 at the Cinnamon Grand, Colombo. Operating under the global BNI framework across 76 countries with over 340,000 members worldwide, BNI Sri Lanka has over 500 members, comprising entrepreneurs, business professionals, and business owners across 16 chapters in the country.

An impressive lineup of internationally renowned speakers and prominent local personalities will share insights and expertise across various domains during the conference.

“We are delighted to host our flagship Sri Lanka National Conference 2025, which will bring together entrepreneurs and industry leaders to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and accelerate business growth. In today’s economy, where entrepreneurs and business owners contribute significantly to a country’s development, BNI plays a key role in supporting and empowering them in their efforts. This annual conference is another key pillar in our structured environment for professionals to exchange quality business referrals in pursuit of their revenue goals and overall business growth — including international opportunities through BNI’s global network. It is also an opportunity to recognise and honour the commitment, contribution, and performance of our members,” said Glenn Lord, Country Manager, BNI Sri Lanka.

A dynamic business leader who believes in human potential and connected growth, Glenn is passionate about building networks that strengthen businesses, inspire individuals, and contribute to a more compassionate society. With a diverse professional background in ICT, office automation, and strategic business development, he brings extensive experience in empowering professionals through trust-based networking and meaningful collaboration — nurturing long-term value and mutual success.

“BNI Sri Lanka adheres to the core philosophy of Givers Gain®. This principle fosters a culture of mutual support, where members are encouraged to contribute to one another’s success. In the past year alone, our members generated over LKR 5.3 billion in closed business through 29,200 referrals, underscoring the effectiveness of our referral-based model,” he added.

The morning session of the conference will feature focused breakout sessions aligned with the theme, followed by “Speed 1-2-1” — facilitated one-on-one meetings between members aimed at building mutually beneficial relationships and business connections. The event will conclude with a gala awards ceremony, dinner, and a networking celebration in the evening.

BNI Sri Lanka provides access to world-class training programmes, mentorship opportunities, and a global network of like-minded professionals to enhance members’ business acumen and professional reach. With a commitment to continuous growth and innovation, BNI Sri Lanka remains dedicated to empowering local businesses and entrepreneurs by providing the platform and support they need to thrive in today’s competitive marketplace. In addition to business growth, BNI also offers a vibrant platform for social interaction and professional networking.
