The Welikada Police have arrested the son of actress and model Piumi Hansamali in connection with an assault incident that took place in the Kalapaluwawa area of Rajagiriya.
The arrest was made following an alleged assault carried out by a group, including Hansamali’s son, after a road accident. The victim of the assault has been hospitalised, and the suspect is expected to be produced before court.
