A foreign woman was taken into custody by the Women’s Division of the Pottuvil Police after she was seen walking along a public road with her upper body exposed.

Police said the woman had walked topless from the Beach Hut Hotel to the entrance of the Ocean Sky Hotel. A senior Police officerconfirmed that the individual is a Thai national.

The tourist will be produced to the Court.
