Former Chief of Intelligence of the Sri Lanka Navy Rear Admiral Sarath Mohotti was arrested this afternoon (18).

Police Media Spokesperson, Assistant Superintendent of Police F.U. Wuththlar, confirmed that the arrest was carried out by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

Further details regarding the arrest or the charges have not yet been disclosed.
