The government has announced a Cabinet reshuffle aimed at making its development goals more streamlined, fast, and effective.
Accordingly, new Cabinet Ministers and Deputy Ministers are scheduled to be sworn in before President Anura Kumara Dissanayake this morning.
Government sources said the reshuffle is intended to strengthen key ministries and accelerate the implementation of national development programmes under the President’s policy framework.
Further details on the changes and new appointments are expected to be officially released following the swearing-in ceremony.
