The Colombo Magistrate’s Court is expected to decide today whether to summon the Colombo JMO as witness in the case pertaining to Wasim Thajudeen’s death, Police Spokesperson ASP Ruwan Gunasekara said.

 

The CID yesterday informed Colombo Magistrate’s Courts that Thajudeen’s death was no accident. It informed courts that there were a number of injuries in Thajudeen’s body. It also requested that the JMO be summoned as witness.

 

Police was investigating on the incident based on the discrepancies found in the initial JMO report and the analyst’s report.
