The Jathika Hela Urumaya, which is now at loggerheads with the government over the Strategic Development Act, is to launch a policy framework soon explaining the party's stand on key issues concerning the country.
Speaking to Asian Mirror, a spokeman of the party said the JHU would extend its suoport to any political alliance that supports the JHU policy framework at a future election.
"For instance, if the UNP supports our policy framework we will not be hesitant to support the UNP at a future election" he said while stating that the JHU support to the UPFA is only conditional and the ruling party should take nothing for granted.
"We do not approve each and every decision taken by the present government. Its strong stand on terrorism is something we can agree upon. Having defeated the LTTE terrorism, the government should now pursue economic prosperity in a righteous manner," he said.
