An underworld figure known as "Raththaran" was gunned down today in Kelanimulla in Mulleriyawa.

Police said that the incident occurred this morning.

This individual is known to be close to another underworld figure named "Angoda Lokka."

This murder comes days after another underworld figure, "Udammita Samare" was murdered.
