Pathfinder Foundation Signs MOI With India’s Vivekananda International Foundation

The Pathfinder Foundation (PF), a Sri Lankan policy institute that strongly focuses on economic releations, has signed an Memorandum of Intent (MOI) with the Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF), to work towards enhancing economic relations  between Sri Lanka and India.

This follows a recent meeting Milinda Moragoda, Founder of PF had with AjitDoval, Director of VIF in New Delhi.

The MOI focuses on  deepening civilizational links, including the exploration of the possibility of promoting mutually beneficial cooperation between the leading Hindu and Buddhist establishments of the two countries; jointly organizing lectures/seminars/conferences on important issues facing the two countries for the development of closer bilateral relations.

 

The two Foundations will also issue joint statements, which will seek to improve understanding of key bilateral issues and raise public awareness of the possibilities for win-win outcomes.  

The overall objective of the cooperation between the two Foundations would be to strengthen economic, political and people-to-people relations between the two countries.

The MOI was signed by Ajit Doval, Director of the Vivekananda International Foundation and Bernard Goonetilleke, Chairman of PF.
