Foreign Minister Dinesh Gunawardena was appointed as the Leader of the House while Minister Johnston Fernando was appointed as the Chief Government Whip.

The two ministers got their appointment letters from Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees on Monday evening.
