Indunil Vajira Kumara alias ‘Indra’, a gunman of slain underworld figure ‘Samayan’ has been shot dead by the Police at Nawagamuwa last night, police said.
They said that the police had to opened fire when the suspect tried to escape after assaulting the police.
Indra, who had committed multiple murders, extortions, robberies and other criminal activities, was arrested by the Nawagamuwa Police on August 27 with 10g of heroin.
