Fort Magistrate Refuses To Issue Warrant For Rishad’s Arrest

The Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court has refused to issue a warrant for the arrest of former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen.

The Attorney General has instructed the Acting IGP to obtain a court warrant and arrest former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen for allegedly transporting voters by bus during the 2019 presidential election.
