A 26- year-old detected with COVID19 has escaped from the Kosgama Hospital at around 6 AM today.

The patient was admitted at around 1.30 this morning.

The patient is a resident of Wellampitiya, which is currently under curfew.

Investigations are underway to trace the escaped patient.
