Sri lanka today recorded the highest number of COVID19 cases reported since March, 2020.

A total of 866 case have been reported this far today, bringing the total confirmed cases to 7153.

The Army Commander said a short while ago that 256 new cases were reproted following PCR tests.

The majoriy of them were patients from the Peliyagoda fish market and their close contacts.
