Ayurvedic doctor and Chairman of Wendol Lanka, Lelwala G Godakanda says that the so-called local cure for COVID19, made by an individual by the name of Dhammika Bandara, is a complete fraud.

Speaking to a YouTube channel, the Ayurvedic doctor and the entrepreneur said the so-called medicine could become poisonous due to its ingredients.

He said that all those who used the medicine could have toxins in their bodies and requested that the toxins be removed immediately.

He pointed out that according to Ayurveda, bees honey is never heated as it can become poisonous. “The use of nutmeg is also problematic as it can become poisonous as well,” he added.

He alleges that the Minister and the Commissioner of Ayurveda are responsible for this erroneous medicine and described the entire process as a complete media show.

Many MPs, including Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi and Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, publicly took sips of this medicine to protect themselves from COVID19.
