Despite Multiple Revelations Over Dhammika Bandara’s “Miraculous” COVID19 Cure People Are Still Lining Up Near His Residence To Obtain Medicine

December 19, 2020

Despite witch doctor Dhammika Bandara’s erratic behavior in Anuradhapura, which exposed his mentality, people are still lining up near his residence in Kegalle to obtain samples of the so-called local cure for COVID19.

Dhammika Bandara came under severe fire on social media when he went to Anuradhapura and claimed that he was goddess Kali and also identified himself as the mother of the chief incumbent of the Atamasthanaya. This irked many Buddhist who said Bandara’s behavior was an insult to the country’s most sacred Buddhist religious site.

Bandara’s behavior was widely criticized by many including Buddhist monks who went on to question his credentials as a traditional healer. Meanwhile, a radio show aired in 2013 exposing Bandara’s corrupt practices has now resurfaced in the wake of the recent developments.

Despite these revelations, a considerable number of people were seen outside the residence of Bandara yesterday to obtain samples of his “miraculous medicine”. A person who spoke to the media said his wife was diagnosed with COVID19.

However, the witch doctor has been asked not to distribute samples of his medicine until further notice. The Police were seen taking measures to disperse the people gathered outside his residence in Kegalle.
