947 persons were arrested yesterday for not wearing face masks, failing to maintain social distancing and violating traffic regulations, Police Media Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana said.

According to the DIG 21,087 people have been arrested for violating traffic regulation since October 30, 2020.
