Ports Authority Chairman Gen. Daya Ratnayake has been appointed the Secretary to the Ministry of Industries replacing Anusha Pelpita.

Pelpita, a senior administrator, has resigned from his ministry secretary post today.

meanwhile, Nihal Keppetipola has been appointed new Chairman of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA).

Upul Jayatissa has been appointed the new Managing Director of the SLPA.
