Saliya Pieris President's Counsel and Isuru Balapatabendi Attorney-at-Law have been elected as President and Secretary of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka for the year 2022/2023.

Peiris was first elected the President of the Bar Association last year with a resounding margin.

Balapatabendi will take up the new position replacing Rajeew Amarasuriya who was elected last year.
