Chairman of Litro Gas Thesara Jayasinghe will be removed from his post today (13), according to government sources.

Former chairman of the Housing Development Authority Renuka Perera is to be appointed as the new chairman of the company.

Jayasinghe will be removed from the post of Chairman in view of the serious situation in the country regarding the gas shortage and the composition of the gas.

Theshara Jayasinghe was appointed to the post following the resignation of former chairman Anil Koswatte.
