Supreme Court Adjourns Second Contempt Of Court Case Against Ranjan Ramanayake

The Supreme Court today (Jan. 24) adjourned the second case of contempt of court against former parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake to March 09.

Ramanayake is currently serving a four year imprisonment as he was found guilty in the first contempt of court case.

SC judges S. Thurairajah, Yasantha Kodagoda and A.S. M. Nawaz presided the hearing today (24).

This is the second case filed against former MP Ranjan Ramanayake for contempt of court within the Supreme Court premises.
