IGP CD Wickramaratne has issued a special circular yesterday (28) informing that a special security system should be put in place at petrol stations to prevent riots at petrol stations due to fuel shortages in the country. says.

The IGP has also stated in his circular that necessary steps should be taken to give priority to tourist vehicles, ambulances, fire trucks, other ambulances, etc.

Measures have been taken to deploy police officers near petrol stations to reduce congestion and prevent unruly situations during queues for fuel.
