A number of protests were staged outside the houses of ruling party MPs today.

A potest took place outside the Wijerama residence of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapapksa this evening.

Meanwhile, another protest took place outside the MPs housing complex in Madiwela.

A heavy police and STF presence was seen around Temple Trees as well — the official residence of the Prime Minister.
