A protest is currently underway opposite the residence of former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The protestors are chanting slogans against “deal politics” and the former Prime Minister’s alleged connections with the Rajapaksa family.

A heavy police presence is seen around the house of the former Prime Minister.

Wickremesinghe, while speaking in Parliament yesterday, said there was an attempt to surround his house and went on to reveal the names of certain individuals involved in it.
