Assets valued at over Rs. 100 million, including two multi-day fishing craft, three-wheelers, motorcycles, and land plots, belonging to underworld figures, have been seized. The Illegal Assets and Properties Investigation Division of Sri Lanka Police conducted the confiscation in areas spanning Galle, Ambalangoda, and Ahungalla.
This action is part of the ongoing 'Yukthiya' operation, initiated by the police in December 2023, aiming to combat drug trafficking and organized crime across the nation.
