Parliament to Hold Three-Day Debate on 2019 Easter Attacks

The Parliament is set to engage in a crucial three-day adjournment debate focusing on the 2019 Easter attacks, beginning on Wednesday (24).
This decision stems from a consensus reached during the party leaders' meeting earlier this month. Alongside discussions on the Easter attacks, lawmakers will deliberate on various amendments to the Code Of Criminal Procedure Act.
Additionally, Parliament will address several orders under the Poisons, Opium, and Dangerous Drugs Ordinance during the session, which commences at 9.30 am.
