Residents in several areas, including Colombo, will experience a 15-hour water cut on Saturday, according to the Water Board.
The disruption will last from 9:00 AM to 12:00 midnight. Affected areas include Colombo, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Kotte, Kaduwela, Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, Kolonnawa, Kotikawatte, and Mulleriyawa.
The Moratuwa Municipal Council areas will receive water at low pressure during this period.

The water cut is necessary due to maintenance work by the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), which requires disconnecting the power supply to the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant, and other related maintenance activities by the water board.
