Sri Lanka's major fuel suppliers, Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC) and China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec), have announced revisions to their fuel prices, aligning with the recent adjustments made by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC).
LIOC stated that its fuel prices will be adjusted to match the newly reduced prices set by the CPC. Similarly, Sinopec confirmed its price revisions to align with both LIOC and CPC.
Sinopec clarified that while the price of Auto Diesel will remain unchanged at Rs. 314, its regular Diesel will be Rs. 3 less than the CPC's rate.
The CPC's new fuel prices, effective from midnight on June 30, are as follows:
- 92 Octane Petrol: reduced by Rs. 11 to Rs. 344
- 95 Octane Petrol: reduced by Rs. 41 to Rs. 379
- Super Diesel: reduced by Rs. 22 to Rs. 355
