A 32-year-old woman from the Nawandhagala area was found murdered inside a house in Malwana. Police reports indicate that a man has been arrested by the Kosgoda Police in connection with the crime.

Investigations reveal that a 32-year-old man from Yakkaduwa had been living at the Malwana house with the victim, with whom he was  having an illicit affair. The murder took place inside the rented house, and the woman's body was discovered by the Biyagama Police a few days later.

Both the Kosgoda and Biyagama Police are actively investigating the case.
