A SriLankan Airlines flight bound for South Korea returned to Colombo's Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport due to a technical issue, approximately two hours into the journey.
Flight UL-470 departed from Bandaranaike International Airport at 6:20 PM yesterday, heading for Incheon Airport with 144 passengers and 15 crew members on board. However, a technical problem prompted the aircraft to return to Katunayake Airport at 8:10 PM.
The airline is currently working to rebook the passengers on an alternate flight to South Korea.
