The Colombo High Court will announce its decision regarding the bail request for former MP Hirunika Premachandra on July 22nd.

Hirunika Premachandra, who is currently in prison, was sentenced on June 28th to three years of rigorous imprisonment.
The sentence follows her conviction on 18 charges, including aiding and abetting the kidnapping of a young man working in a store in Dematagoda.
