The newly constructed flyover at the Kohuwala Junction was officially opened to the public today. The ceremony was led by Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and attended by Minister of Highways and Transport Bandula Gunawardena.

The flyover spans 297 meters in length and 9.4 meters in width, covering a four-lane road that connects Nugegoda and Kalubowila.
The structure is designed to ease traffic congestion at the busy junction.
